On the second Sunday of every month, the Mount Tamborine Showgrounds plays host to the Mount Tamborine Country Markets where people of all ages and walks of life gather together to enjoy delicious food stalls and wander aisles displaying home made soaps, clothes and artwork. Serenaded by a local performer under the gazebo, it’s obvious why this market is a popular choice for locals and tourists alike. But if you find yourself travelling up the Mountain on the last Sunday of the month then be sure to visit the Mount Tamborine State School Markets. With live music, delicious food, bri-a-brac stalls and locally made treasures, you won’t be disappointed!


Walk the Walk –

Gallery Walk. Perhaps what Mount Tamborine is most famous for, this street provides visitors with plenty to do and see all within walking distance of one another. Countless restaurants, a winery, a specialty liquor store (shaped like a castle), a German clock store, two fudge stores, art galleries and plenty of stores packed full of carefully crafted knick-knacks that are sure to bewitch you. You’ll need more than just a few hours to enjoy all that this busy street has to offer!


Back to Nature –

There is no shortage of natural beauty up the mountain. Waterfalls, nature hikes and parks surround you and make you feel like you are really in the middle of nowhere – not just a short drive from a bustling city.
